The DGFT has issued a trade notice to notify about operationalization of ‘Global Tariff and Trade Helpdesk’
To address dynamic global trade developments, the DGFT has launched a ‘Global Tariff and Trade Helpdesk’ to assist exporters and importers facing issues such as:
- Tariff changes and countermeasures
- Import surges or dumping
- EXIM clearances and logistics challenges
- Financial, regulatory, or compliance-related hurdles
Key Highlights:
- Stakeholders can raise issues via the DGFT website under Services > DGFT Helpdesk Service > Create New Request and select ‘Global Tariff and Trade Issues’.
- Submissions may also be made via email (dgftedi@nic.in) or the toll-free number 1800-111-550.
- Real-time tracking of resolution status is available, with updates shared via email and SMS.
