DGFT:
The Central Government has amended Para 4.41(5) of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023 to update the name of the designated gem certification agency. The existing entry “International Gemmological Institute (India) Pvt. Ltd., Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai” has been revised to “International Gemmological Institute (India) Limited, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai” with immediate effect. This amendment is a name correction and does not impact the functional scope of the agency. The notification has been issued with the approval of the Minister of Commerce & Industry.
