Customs
The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification granting exemption from the whole of additional duty of customs (equivalent to Special Additional Excise Duty) on import of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) falling under heading 2710. The exemption has been provided in public interest under Section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962 read with Section 147 of the Finance Act, 2002. The notification comes into force with immediate effect.
