 The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a notification to provide for additional policy conditions for Exports of Sesame Seeds to United States of America (USA). The additional conditions are as follows:

  1. India Oilseeds & Produce Export Promotion Council (IOPEPC) is designated as competent authority to issue export certification.
  2. The IOPEPC shall issue export certification within two working days of receiving the request from Exporter subject to a ‘Certificate of Analysis’ by a NABL accredited laboratory.

The stated policy conditions shall come into effect from 16th November 2024.
