DGFT:
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has invited applications for the export of Pharma Grade Sugar under the Restricted Category, as permitted by Notification No. 17 dated 17th June 2025. A total one-time export quota of 25,000 MT is available for the current sugar season up to 30th September 2025.
Exporters must submit online applications between 20th June to 20th July 2025 via DGFT’s ECOM system (Non-SCOMET Restricted Items). Only one application per IEC will be considered, and no hard copy submissions are required.
Eligibility requires:
- A valid Drug Manufacturing License from the concerned State Licensing Authority.
- RCMC registration with PHARMEXCIL.
The export quota will be allocated on a pro-rata basis based on the applicant’s production capacity. Export authorizations will be valid for one year, and actual exports must be accompanied by NABL-accredited test reports confirming Pharma Grade compliance.
Applications that are incomplete, submitted by post/email, or outside the defined timeline will be rejected. DGFT reserves full rights to modify the allocation process.
