GST:
GSTN, in collaboration with NIC, is launching the new E-Way Bill 2.0 portal (https://ewaybill2.gst.gov.in) from 1st July 2025 to enhance system resilience and operational continuity. This portal introduces real-time synchronisation with the existing E-Way Bill 1.0 portal, enabling seamless cross-portal functionalities such as E-Way Bill generation, extension, transporter updates, and consolidated E-Way Bill retrieval, regardless of which portal the original bill was created on.
Designed to mitigate the impact of technical downtimes, this dual-portal architecture allows taxpayers and transporters to perform key operations on either portal, with mirrored data access across both. All services will also be accessible via APIs, ensuring integration flexibility for businesses. Users are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the new features and initiate API testing
