Hope you might have received the request from your Export Promotion Council for filling up the data in Form R1, R2 & R3 and submit the same for each product exported by you duly certified by Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant, in your own benefit we advise you to fill up this data and send it to your Export Promotion Council, which will enable them to recommend the rate of RoDTEP as against MEIS.
You are well aware that MEIS is already restricted now in the quantum and thereafter MEIS Scheme will not be in existence and govt is planning to introduce Remission of Duties & Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) Scheme to help the exporters and reduce the cost of exports. Govt has extended the time but now the time has come that no more extensions will be granted and rates will be fixed by December 2020.
