The Ministry of Finance has amended Notification No. 45/2025-Customs dated 24 October 2025 to extend the concessional customs duty benefit to specified goods used in the manufacture of display assemblies for automotive, medical and industrial applications. The notification inserts a new entry covering components such as Cells, Flexible Printed Circuit Assemblies (FPCA), Backlight Units, Frames and Anisotropic Conductive Film (ACF), subject to specified exclusions. The concessional duty benefit will remain available up to 31st March 2029.
