Customs:
The Ministry of Finance has amended Notification No. 57/2017-Customs dated 30 June 2017 to extend the Basic Customs Duty (BCD) exemption to specified goods used in the manufacture of Inductor Coil Modules for wireless charging in cellular mobile phones. The notification grants Nil BCD on components such as NC (Nano-Crystalline) Assembly, E-Shield, PET Liner, PC Shim (with Z-Liner), Main Stranded Coil and NFC Coil, and NdFeB Magnets and also inserts detailed definitions of these components. The exemption shall remain in force up to 31st March 2029.
